[jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-747) Allow more configuration changes without restarting TServers

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-747?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13676149#comment-13676149 ]

Christopher Tubbs commented on ACCUMULO-747:
--------------------------------------------

This ticket is a bit vague. The description identifies max open files and max concurrent compactions, specifically, so I think the focus should be on those, in order to resolve this ticket. If there's another configuration option that should be included, it should be named explicitly (possibly in separate tickets, because they may require a separate dedicated effort).

> Some configuration changes still require tablet servers to restart to take effect. For instance, max open files and max concurrent compactions.
