Create Repository test connection failing with HA service name, but
succesfull with current active node
Connection Failed.
Unable to get listing of files for directory [/] from Hadoop environment [hacl01_hdfs]. You can still save the repository and start creating policies, but you would not be able to use autocomplete for resource names. Check xa_portal.log for more info.

Thank you Dilli.
I am using Hortonworks ranger_2_2_0_0_2041-admin.x86_64 package.
Helpful if you share any information about; how to apply this patch with hortonworks package.

Sreeni,
You have hit a known limitation and found the right work around of specifying current active name node as the value of fs.default.name.
The problem is being tracked and fixed by
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RANGER-237
Thanks
Dilli
