While iOS audio is always played in background, Android audio is not.

We experienced great performance improvements playing audio in background on Android devices. So, we forked the repo and made the necessary changes.

What do you think about officially implementing background audio on Android? Is it something you can consider? If so, would you play audio in background by default? We'd like to start a conversation about it in order to do how to implement changes that can be part of our pull request.
