Subversion debian packages how-to?

Hello

I'm thinking of build 1.1 rc-3 on my Debian box but would like to build 
debian packages instead of just 'make install'. Have anyone tried this 
and is able to tell me what I need to do?

subversion 1.1.0rc2-1 is in experimental, maintained by David Kimdon.
