How to execute the openwire C sample?

hi. 
 I get the openwire-c sample from the file of 
incubator-activemq-4.0.2-src.zip, 

Ii download apache APR 1.2.7 and Follow the Win32 build instructions, but i
cannot compile it by VS2005 

Can anyone offer any tips to get this to compile?
