--- Comment #6 from Rainer Bielefeld <ra...@bielefeldundbuss.de> ---
Reproducible with "AOO 4.0.1 – German UI / German locale [Rev. 1524958
2013-09-20 11:40:29]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4.0
User Profile used for all predecessor versions:

0. From AOO Start center open blank new Spreadsheet
1. Open Sample Document with MS Excel Viewer
2. Click A9
   > Celll cursor arouncd A9
3. <control+c> for copy
4. Click into Blank new Calc spreadsheet A1
5. <Control+v> for Paste
Bug: Last character "V" is missing :-(
6. Click A10
   > Celll cursor arouncd A10
7. <control+c> for copy
8. Click into Blank new Calc spreadsheet A2
9. <Control+v> for Paste
Bug: Identical contents as in step 5 (instead of twice as much :-(
   characters

Additional Info:
-----------------
(a) Copy / Paste to EditPad Lite document without truncation
(b) Copy / Paste to Writer Lite document without truncation
(c) In Step 5 or 9 no data loss with menu 'Edit -> Paste Special -> Unformatted
Text', also no data loss when paste as RTF
(d) I see the same truncation when I copy / paste to
(d1) SoftMaker FreeOffice
(d2) Gnumeric
(d3) LibO 4.1.3
(e) Not reproducible with
(e1) Calligra (Always unformatted text?)
(f) Works fine when I paste in cell edit mode (after <f2>)
(g) currently I am not sure whether this is an OO bug. Might be
something very special with Excel cell contents clipboard formatting in
    Excel?
(h) Does that work with excel? And if yes, why do (as it seems) all other
    spreadsheet programs fail?
