Newbie Q: sortable table header

Thanks I looked though that example and It was helpful.

Now my problem is that I am trying to put some formatting in the Title(top 
part of the column) but I still want the table to be sortable when the title 
is clicked.

Currently the header refers to the following bock:

<span jwcid="VotesColumnHeader@Block">
            Votes<Br><span class="very-small">Lib/Lab</span>
</span>

What would I have to do to make it sort the table when the header is 
clicked?
