Sounds good. How do I do that?
(In Mozilla 1.0/1.1/1.2 the only vaguely relevant options I can see are "Re-wrap" and "Quote selected text". You're not talking about HTML <pre> are you? I don't think so, because (I sincerely hope) we are not using HTML for e-mail. I failed to find an example in the mailing list archive, due mainly to inadequacies of the search engine :-( )

I'm using Mozilla's HTML text editor, and letting it convert to plain
text when sending the message. Works like a charm.
