VersionHelper

I see some classes called VersionHelper, that have replaced what I think was
called Version (or VersionMarker or similar). Can whomever explain the
thinking behind the name change? Right now I don't think "Depot Version"
looks for such a beastie, so either I need to fix that, or something.
