Maven 1.0 & plugin releases

Hi all,

I anticipate being ready to vote for Maven 1.0 within a week now, and need to
get any plugin releases out the door first so the best versions can be bundled.

I will release (based on a vote later): clean, cruisecontrol, idea, javadoc,
jcoverage, pmd, scm, test, xdoc
I will probably also release artifact, deploy and gump after some more work this
week.

The others that probably should be released but are owned by others:
abbot, aspectj, jnlp (vincent)
appserver, webserver (peter lynch)

Is this able to be done?

These have changed insignificantly and can wait until later: ant, changelog,
checkstyle, eclipse, ejb, faq, jar, junit-report, jxr, multiproject, release.

Does anyone have any objections or suggestions for needed releases?

Thanks,
Brett

As mentioned, can we formalize the release of:

clean, cruisecontrol, idea, javadoc,
jcoverage, pmd, scm, test, xdoc

Re: Maven 1.0 & plugin releases

Hi David,

I don't think any committers have stepped up to own/release it. I'm not in a
position to.

Don't worry - it's always easy to download them later on!

Cheers,
Brett

David,

I'm happy to look at getting the RAR plugin in the next few days.

Brett, if this isn't ok, let me know.

Is there any chance of getting the rar plugin I submitted in before the

I agree - I think Vincent usually has responsibility for releasing this?
(Let me know if this isn't the case - I don't know enough to release it
though).

Hi,

I think aspectj-plugin should be released as it has been upgraded to AspectJ
1.2 and at least with the improvement in MPASPECTJ-10 (Use maxmem only when
fork=true to avoid aspectj warnings)
