RE: Anyone want to take a stab at submitting something for the ne
wsle
Good point.. However, maybe this is something like "Driving towards the
initial beta release of 2.3.... " I feel like Turbine needs to do a better
job of marketing, and the newsletter is one way.
Additionally, I guess something else I would like to either Yay/Nay is the
configuration changes I have proposed..
Any feedback?
Eric

Are we sure that we want to start announcing features of 2.3? Perhaps
if we are ready to release a beta version.......
Does anyone have anything else that they feel needs to be included in
2.3 before we release a beta version?
He had the following items but they can wait until 2.4 as far as I am
concerned.
1 - Ability to load Torque as an Avalon component and get rid of the
strutum lifecycle stuff. However, I have still not been able to get
enough free time to make the required changes to Torque.
2 - Get the Fulcrum services converted to components for release at the
same time as Turbine 2.3. again, not something I have had time to deal
with.

- Adding the ability to run Avalon Components
- Integrating commons-configuration
- Rework of the Templating (JSP, Velocity) Service
