The same applies for checkboxes.

How can I initialize one the radio buttons to checked? The same
question goes for checkboxes as well. I have not seen any attribute for
this in the docs.

thanks

request parameter for action forward can not be read by weblogic

Posted by Irene Yip <iy...@silverstream.com>.
Hi,
I have a struts based application deployed to weblogic 6.1, and somehow I
can not append request parameter for action forwarding.

In my action servlet CompleteOrderAction, I have
return new ActionForward(mapping.findForward("success").getPath() +
"?order=" + orderId);

(if I print out   mapping.findForward("success").getPath() + "?order=" +
orderId    it is
/orderconfirmation.jsp?order=23)

My struts-config.xml is like this
<action path="/completeOrder"
type="com.sssw.demo.silverbooks.action.CompleteOrderAction"
name="PaymentForm">
   <forward name="success"    path="/orderconfirmation.jsp" />
 </action>

Then in my orderconfirmation.jsp, I have
orderId: <%= request.getParameter("order") %>

But I get nothing for orderId! It looks like weblogic can not deal with
request parameter in mapping.findForward???
(The same code works in other app servers)

Does anyone know why it is so and is there a work around? Is this a known
issue?

Thanks a lot.
