[jira] [Created] (OFBIZ-9263) Remove the 91% message from gradle when running tasks (ofbiz, ofbizDebug, etc) or altogether

Jacques Le Roux created OFBIZ-9263:
--------------------------------------

Summary: Remove the 91% message from gradle when running tasks (ofbiz, ofbizDebug, etc) or altogether
                 Key: OFBIZ-9263
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-9263
             Project: OFBiz
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Jacques Le Roux
            Priority: Minor

We exchanged about the 91% message from gradle when running tasks on Hipchat. This already proves to be annoying for new comers who, being confused, often ask questions about it. Taher suggested:
bq. We can remove the progress bar from gradle
I asked if it was also possible for CLI and Taher answered
bq. Yeah it's a flag you pass to gradle, but cannot do it selectively. I believe you can do it from configuration but cannot recall how exactly, you can check the docs for that.

I checked, you need to set a TERM=dumb environment variable. I think, I will close here and we will put a work in the README.MD file. How many times we will have to explain that to new comers remains to be seen... damned RTFM!
