ie. using portrait page layout for the first page switch to landscape for the
second page and back to portrait for the rest of the file.
It kinda looks like its working but the page settings within the rtf file are
wrong.
For the first page its i.e. A4 means height: 29.7cm and width: 21cm
2nd page will be set to A4 landscape height: 21cm and width:29.7cm which is
right so far.
from 3rd page its going to be strange: its now set to A3 landscape but with
manual page dimension settings for height: 29.7cm and width:21cm
this makes it impossible to print for A4 printers and for A3 printers to switch
to A3 paper and printing the pages on the right side in A4 size.

i don't understand; does the problem which your patch address still exist or
not? if it does, then why are you marking this as resolved+fixed? is it because
you no longer wish to pursue a fix?
