Data validation and POI

Hi all!

I have a spreadsheet containing cells with data validation lists
(manually inserted via Data->Validaton->Allow:List). The values can be
selected via a drop down box.

Is it possible to a) determine if a cell has data validation enabeld
and b) read the allowed values for a given HSSFCell with the POI API?
If yes, how do I do that?
