Did you try the Linux Axis-C version? If yes, please help

Hi,
 
I want to try the Linux version of Axis.
This is my conf :
- Apache 1.3.27
- expat 1.95.7
- xerces 2.2.0
- axis C++ 1.0
 
I get the page when I start the Apache server:

Welcome to Axis C++



Deployment Descripter Not Found

  
Is it normal?
 
I get the same page with the example of the server side libinteropbase.so.
Is it normal? :)  (i think i know your answers)
