In SQOOP-931, we introduced the SQOOP HCatalog integration which brought  fidelity and flexibility to the transfer of data between Hadoop ecosystem and external data stores.   This work is to enhance the work so that we allow direct mode connectors to also take advantage of the hcatalog integration
