Atomic file transactions

I found an article with an implementation of atomic file transactions in Java at
http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2001/11/07/atomic.html?page=1 but the
attached source code doesn't have any license headers or copyright statement.

Does anybody know of an ready-to-use open source alternative (of course with a
license that can be used in combination with ASL) or should I try to contact the
author?

Thomas, you don't have to ask Reinhard explicitely: there are many
people on this list that can answer your question.

The answer is yes: it is possible in 2.1.5, and the provided stylesheets
are already organized this way. If you look at the main stylesheet, it
just imports some lower-level stylesheets that define the widget layout.

Question to Reinhard Poelz

Posted by Thomas Haginger <th...@chello.at>.
Hi Reinhard Pölz,

Andreas Hochsteger told me that it's possible to overload templates in
CocoonForms. I will
try that. Can you tell me if this is already possible with the version of
the stylesheets in
cocoon 2.1.5.1?

Thanks,
Thomas Haginger

IIUC it enables "transparent" filesystem transaction, e.g. it operates
directly
on the filesystem writing/deleting/renaming of file://c:/cocoon/myfile.txt.
Am I
correct here?

Many thanks!

The TxFileStore from Jakarta Slide moved to Jakarta Commons
recently. See http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/sandbox/transaction/
