CXF in disconnected mode

I'm developing an application that uses the CXF feature in a disconnected
facility (strict firewall requirements).  While testing, I found that

this issue  looks like it will affect me.  I was hoping someone on this list
would have a recommendation for a workaround approach.  Does it make more
sense to:

a)  Try to get the source for the CXF feature and somehow try to redirect
the call to http://cxf.apache.org/schemas/ and host it on a local machine

b) Abandon my use of CXF with blueprint and try to publish my webapp
programatically

Thoughts or suggestions anyone?
