[jira] [Created] (SPARK-28052) ArrayExists should follow the three-valued boolean logic.

Takuya Ueshin created SPARK-28052:
-------------------------------------

             Summary: ArrayExists should follow the three-valued boolean logic.
                 Key: SPARK-28052
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-28052
             Project: Spark
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: SQL
    Affects Versions: 2.4.3
            Reporter: Takuya Ueshin

Currently {{ArrayExists}} always returns boolean values (if the arguments are not null), but it should follow the three-valued boolean logic:
 - {{true}} if the predicate holdsĀ {{true}}
 - otherwise, {{null}} if the predicate holds {{null}}
 - otherwise, {{false}}
