BeanUtils.describe loses classes

craig.mcclanahan@sun.com changed:

           What    |Removed                     |Added
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
             Status|NEW                         |RESOLVED
         Resolution|                            |INVALID

------- Additional Comments From craig.mcclanahan@sun.com  2003-01-07 17:22 -------
BeanUtils.describe() converts everything back to Strings because that is what
you need to feed back in to BeanUtils.populate() -- as the Javadocs say.

If you want to create a Map of the current values of the bean properties with no
conversions, just use PropertyUtils.describe() instead.
