   They actually recommend stopping to use the `native-image` mojo altogether replacing it with 
   
   ```
   <profiles>
       <profile>
           <id>native</id>
           <properties>
               <quarkus.package.type>native</quarkus.package.type>
           </properties>
       </profile>
   </profiles>
   ```
