[jira] [Created] (RANGER-780) Atlas-Interface: Update Atlas Notification processing to accommodate format changes to qualifiedName attribute

Abhay Kulkarni created RANGER-780:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Atlas-Interface: Update Atlas Notification processing to accommodate format changes to qualifiedName attribute
                 Key: RANGER-780
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RANGER-780
             Project: Ranger
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: tagsync
    Affects Versions: 0.6.0
            Reporter: Abhay Kulkarni
            Assignee: Abhay Kulkarni
             Fix For: 0.6.0

In Atlas-0.5, the name field had the format, dbname.tablename@clustername. But along the way, on trunk, it was changed to clustername.dbname.tablename to make it intuitive. But just before atlas-0.6 release, to make it backward compatible(as some users were already using atlas in prod), it had to be changed it back to dbname.tablename@clustername.

Formats of qualified names of other hive types in Atlas are at https://github.com/apache/incubator-atlas/blob/master/docs/src/site/twiki/Bridge-Hive.twiki
