The Mynewt introduction document should have an overview of the major functional areas of the Mynewt OS, including:

- RTOS/event mechanisms
- Packaging/build
- HAL/BSP
- Flash/image support 

The purpose of this introduction is to paint a picture of how to use the Mynewt Operating System, the rationale behind the various components and links to further information on each of them.
