LastActiveTime doesn't get set/saved in an ExtensionActivity

Hi devs,

I have implemented an ExtensionActivity which calls to an external
webservice.
The lastActivetime does not get set untill the response from the webservice
receive (i.e untill instance get completed)

Any pointers to look at??
