I've a similar problem with %20 (space urlencoded)

Apache 1.3.33 on FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE is throwing a 400 error "bad request" in
stead of applying the rewriterule I've setup like RewriteRule ^/%20OUT/(.*)$
^/OUT/$1 

it's a bit strange and very annoying.
