[~teofili] I have committed my "work-in-progress" in the solr-on-search-module branch, at https://github.com/tteofili/jackrabbit-oak/commit/9e16ab3d3c5a2d755cc880571683e8b216026df9

But I didn't get very far with this. I'm OK to throw away the code, or use it, either way.
