[jira] [Commented] (GUACAMOLE-1229) Automatically rebuild Docker images

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-1229?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17399952#comment-17399952 ]

Matt Grochowalski commented on GUACAMOLE-1229:
----------------------------------------------

Can you update the Overview packages on Dockerhub to add a description of what "latest" is? I was looking for the latest release re-built with security patches (what this added), but assumed "latest" corresponded to the latest git master HEAD rev.

> The {{guacamole/guacamole}} and {{guacamole/guacd}} Docker images are normally built only as part of the release process. Since these images depend on packages outside of Apache Guacamole (such as Tomcat and various distro-maintained libraries), it would be better if these images were automatically rebuilt to pull in any updates to dependencies.
