   Priority: Minor

    Project: maven
 Components:
             documentation

   Versions:

   Assignee: Brett Porter
   Reporter: Erik Husby

    Created: Thu, 25 Mar 2004 5:00 PM

Environment: Any

Description:
It would faciltate the development of project.xml files if the maven-project.xsd was published at a known location on the Web. Then XML editing tools could validate a project as one was editing. As an example, when using an XML editor, if a project.xml had this

<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/version/XMLSchema/maven-project.xsd"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

The editor could validate the xml as it was entered.
