[jira] Commented: (AXIS2-1960) We need an api way to set the axis2.repository.path and the axis2.xml.path

I've struggled with this same issue.
It's currently difficult to set the axis2.repository.path and the axis2.xml.path init parameters without modifying the Axis2 war. I want to ship this war unmodified with my application.
My current solution is to provide a custom version(s) of WarBasedAxisConfigurator and/or the servlet classes (earlier in the classpath).

> We need an api way to set the axis2.repository.path and the axis2.xml.path so that it need not be specified in the web.xml where the axis servlet is deployed. This will help a lot in the dynamically determining the path from application specific params and setting it through an api/system property to axis.
