BOF at Supercomputing 2012

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Hi all--

We'd like to propose a Birds of a Feather session at SC12 (November 12-15, Salt Lake City) on using Apache community processes in cyberinfrastructure and scientific software projects. This is due July 31, but the proposal is short.

I put together a quick draft at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jCPu_sVgxaFOJ_QNlz9iFh8dWq1dmSrUjeKqx6Jfumg/edit#. This is just to get things started. Please request edit privileges if you want to make changes. Editing privileges==being listing as co-convener in the BOF application.

Thanks Chris & Daniel.

Hope we generate some interest at SC. Rave-Airavata-OODT will be a good story by themselves but looking forward for a broader open source in HPC discussion.
