A Q. on Forbidden.

Hi,
I'm kinda confuse on why I'm getting an error that said
I'm Forbidden to excute python cgi script.
I change my httpd.conf User and Group directives
to my user name and group, which happen to be
the same. Does 'nobody' have to be used?
Thanks.
Wayne

Hi all,
Found my problem. I had put a + in front of the option
ExecCGI. Once I removed the + things worked. However,
I thougth that was suppose to 'or' the option, in essence,
add the the option. I'll reread the docs again.
Thanks for all the help.

I had read that and did everthing it said to do.I also have a book title
"Linux Apache Web Server Administration" that I also used to
verify that I was doing thing correctly. That's why I'm confuse.
 Any other ideas?
Thanks.

Check the program is executable (see
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/howto/cgi.html - and read the bit about
file permissions).

Rgds,
