Spark VideoDisplay Source Path
Hello
I am building a very simple application which displays an FLV file in a
Spark VideoDisplay.
I have created an 'assets' package and placed an FLV movie into it. I have
set my VideoDisplay.source as "assets/movie_01.flv" and when I run the
application on my Mac the movie displays fine in Safari.
I exported a Release Build of my project and copied it to our fileserver and
then tested it from my Mac and the movie doesn't display.
What can I be doing wrong?
Many thanks.

Hello to anyone following this thread.
I have found that if I set the Project's Compiler properties as follows
everything works: '-locale en_US -use-network=false'.
Can anyone please explain why?
Thank you.

Hello
I continued with this all yesterday and still can't get the flv file to
play. I have now moved the flv file into the src folder alongside the mxml
application file (to eliminate any possible path errors). The folder
containing the Release Build has the html file, swf file and flv file all
together.
If I double-click the generated html file in the Release Build folder, as
exported from Flash Builder, it runs fine. If I move the Release Build
folder to another location on my Mac and then view the html file the flv
file does not display. I now display the MediaPlayerState which reads
'playbackError' once the Release Build folder has been moved.
Very curious! I must be missing something very simple, but I can't see it.
Thanks

Make sure that the assets directory in the same directory as the release
.swf file.
