[jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-947) The 'merge' shell command's help message is a little vague

Josh Elser created ACCUMULO-947:
-----------------------------------

Summary: The 'merge' shell command's help message is a little vague
                 Key: ACCUMULO-947
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-947
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: shell
    Affects Versions: 1.4.2
            Reporter: Josh Elser
            Assignee: Billie Rinaldi
            Priority: Minor
             Fix For: 1.5.0

I tried to use the `merge` command in the shell, and had some difficulties not realizing what the command was actually doing. I believe the following statements are true, but not actually documented in the help/usage message.

1) The --force option also means that the end-row (specified by --end-row) will be inclusive.
2) The --begin-row option is never inclusive.
