Catch the next Gump problem before you get nagged ;-)

Hi,

current result on my machine (after adding xml-im-exporter):

build-jca:
     [echo] Building WebDAV JCA connector
[javac] Compiling 7 source files to /javastuff/gump/jakarta-slide/webdavclient/build/jca/classes
[javac] /javastuff/gump/jakarta-slide/webdavclient/connector/src/java/org/apache/webdav/connector/WebDAVXAResource.java:98: org.apache.webdav.connector.WebDAVXAResource.TransactionalWebDAVResource is not abstract and does not override abstract method resume() in org.apache.commons.transaction.util.xa.TransactionalResource
    [javac]     protected static class TransactionalWebDAVResource extends AbstractTransactionalResource {
    [javac] ^
    [javac] 1 error

BUILD FAILED
/javastuff/gump/jakarta-slide/build.xml:575: The following error occurred while executing this line:
/javastuff/gump/jakarta-slide/webdavclient/build.xml:223: Compile failed; see the compiler error output for details.

Ant.

Gump puts all dependencies (the latest versions of everything) into
CLASSPATH and then runs Ant with build.sysclasspath[1] set to only.
This means that whatever your build file places into a <classpath>
element is completely ignored by Gump.

Ahh, I didn't know. (where is this configured)

I've added the missing methods now.

You mean that compilation will now fail with plain Ant as well instead
of just in Gump? 8-)

Gump uses CVS HEAD of commons-transaction and ignores the jar in your
CVS module - and the error occurs using CVS HEAD.

Hi,
I have updated to a newer version of commons-transaction now.
That should resolve this.
