Re: [VOTE] Release JMeter 5.5 RC3

The date is fixed for reproducibility reasons.
In other words, if you build JMeter with a more-or-less the same Java
version, you'll get the same archives.

Re: [VOTE] Release JMeter 5.5 RC3

Posted by Vincent Daburon <vd...@gmail.com>.
Hi,

[ X ] -0 OK, but....

I made some tests with on windows with
rem set JM_LAUNCH=C:\Java\jdk1.8.0_191\bin\java.exe
rem set JM_LAUNCH=C:\Java\jdk-11.0.2\bin\java.exe
set JM_LAUNCH=C:\Java\jdk-17.0.2\bin\java.exe

I keep having slowdowns when displaying an html page in a View Results Tree
with JDK 11 (no trouble with jdk 8 or jdk 17).
I don't change the property view.results.tree.soft_wrap_line_size=100000
Can you specify to which version of the JDK this error (slow-down) is
corrected in the documentation or the changes.html ?

Why files in zip or tar.gz have date at "1980-01-01" (zip) or "1970-01-02"
(tar.gz) ?
it's not convenient. The bug appears after version 5.2

Could you create zip and tar.gz with real file date ?

Regards.
Vincent DAB.
