Web analytics for apache incubator site

Are there any statistics tracked for access to the incubator or general
apache pages? I'd like to get a rough sense of if these thing actually
get any traffic and if so where it's from to decide if it's worth
putting any more work into the web stuff.
 
Is this already done somewhere? If not, is it fine to to drop Google
Analytics onto the pages?
