Selenium Storing a global variable and then opening a URL.

I am storing a global variable and then opening a URL.  Once I try to open
the URL with variable I get a Security error.  Has anyone seen this before?

Security error:  attempted to read protected variable 'href'\nstacktrace: n/
a; see opera:config#UsePrefs[Exceptions Have Stacktrac.
