Pekko 1.0.0 jars
Hi everyone,
The Pekko 1.0.0-RC3 vote passed on the Incubator general list.
I have prepared the 1.0.0 jars if anyone wants to compare them to the
1.0.0-RC3 jars. They were built from the same git commit. The only
difference is the version number.
I will leave the jars there until 20:00 UTC on 13 July and publish the
1.0.0 jars to Maven Central if there are no issues found.
https://repository.apache.org/content/groups/staging/org/apache/pekko/
In sbt, you can add this resolver.
resolvers += "Apache Pekko Staging" at
"https://repository.apache.org/content/groups/staging"

PJ

Indeed, congratulations to the team.
Just updated dependencies and ran sbt, pekko libraries downloaded like a charm.
No bad surprise so far.

There actually seems to be some delay getting the jars released to
Maven Central. Seems to be alphabetic. Everything up to pekko-protobuf
is there but pekko-stream* is not yet. Hopefully, there is just a
delay on the rest and that we have not run into some sort of publish
failure which stops some of the jars being published.

Release of the jars is happening now. It can take minutes to hours for the Maven Central sync to happen but they should be there before long.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the development and release.
I'll send out the ASF announcement emails when the jars appear in Maven Central.

Re: Pekko 1.0.0 jars

I have verified the 1.0.0 JVM binary JARS release by locally checking out
Pekko source at 1.0.0, doing +publishLocal and then using jardiff (
https://github.com/lightbend-labs/jardiff) to compare those locally
published jars against
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/staging/org/apache/pekko/
(there was zero reported JVM bytecode differences).
I have also checked the .asc detached signatures using gpg --verify against
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/apache/incubator-pekko/main/KEYS
Good work on the first ever Pekko 1.0.0 release!
