Stateless operator and Properties

Hello Team,

Is it possible mark the operators stateless but the properties needs to be
applied from the config after recovery?

Thanks
Sandesh

I have created the jira for this case.

AFAIK right now platform does not have it right now. This is a valid ask.
Usually this means the the variable(s) underneath are constant, but
initialized during setup as opposed to being declared final.

Suppose property is fixed in that case I want to mark the operator as
stateless and during recovery I want the property to be re-applied from the
config file. This logic can be coded in the operator, but can it be done by
the platform?

Properties are part of the operator state. So if the intention is to change
properties after the application was launched the operator cannot be marked
stateless.
