[jira] [Created] (CASSANDRA-20175) cqlsh autocompletion for role names/user names is broken

Francisco Guerrero created CASSANDRA-20175:
----------------------------------------------

Summary: cqlsh autocompletion for role names/user names is broken
                 Key: CASSANDRA-20175
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-20175
             Project: Apache Cassandra
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Francisco Guerrero
            Assignee: Francisco Guerrero

In CASSANDRA-6307 cqlsh switched from using cassandra-dbapi2 to python-driver. The autocomplete functionality for role names and user names relied on the {{is_valid_cql3_name}} function which was removed as part of CASSANDRA-6307, but the {{username_name_completer}} and {{rolename_completer}} functions were missed and were not updated to use the new {{maybe_escape_name}} function.
