   Thanks for the report.

I tried to reproduce the issue on JMeter 5.6.3 with:
   - Thread Group using Scheduler (Duration)
   - Include Controller loading a simple Test Fragment
   - No additional timers or special controllers

In this setup, the test stops correctly when the duration is reached.

Could you please provide more details about your test plan?
   In particular:
   - Does the included Test Fragment contain any Timers (e.g. Constant Throughput Timer, Constant Timer)?
   - Are there any While / Until / Loop Controllers inside the fragment?
   - What are the thread group settings (threads, loops, duration)?
   - If possible, a minimal JMX that reproduces the problem would be very helpful.

This would help determine whether this is a bug or expected behavior under specific configurations.
