Hi Chris,

What is the issue with access control? What level of cred do we need in order to see these stats? My apache account should be in synch with my github username (sterlinghughes), and I'm a member of the apache org on github.

Thanks, Sterling

> I would like to see how many times our git repos have been cloned and by whom (committer or non-committer):
> https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator-mynewt-newt.git
> We are trying to understand interest in our podling project.
> On the github mirror we can look at the list of contributors and members - and we can see who has forked the repo. Is there any other metric that is helpful to assess interest?
> thanks,
