Karaf log not showing runtime exceptions

Hello,

I am Using Karaf 3.0.1 and the log files currently are not displaying
runtime exceptions such as null pointer exceptions. This makes debugging
issues difficult.

Is there a way for karaf to log runtime exceptions?
