mod_jk.conf
Hi,
I'm having trouble with the mod_jk.conf. It dosn't seem to regard my
web.xml descriptor at all.
This is the mod_jk.conf tomcat generates for me:
...
Alias /test "/home/mho/jakarta-tomcat-3.2/webapps/test"
<Directory "/home/mho/jakarta-tomcat-3.2/webapps/test">
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks
</Directory>
JkMount /test/servlet/* ajp12
JkMount /test/*.jsp ajp12
my web.xml:
<web-app>
<servlet>
<servlet-name>
WAPTemplateTest
</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>
dk.realtime.service.test.template.WAPTemplateTest
</servlet-class>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>WAPTemplateTest</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/waptemplate</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
</web-app>
With this i should be able to reach http://localhost/waptemplate, but i
can't. If i add the line:
JkMount /test/* ajp12
to mod_jk.conf I can. But that means I can't use the auto-generated
mod_jk.conf.
I'm a missing something in my web.xml ?

Re: mod_jk.conf
Posted by Pier Paolo Bortone <pi...@netengineering.it>.
I had same problem, I'm interested at your email response.
Now I have resolved my problem saving a copy of mod_jk.conf auto-generated in mod_jk_manually.conf and including this in httpd.conf instead of mod_jk.conf auto-generated.
I'm interested to other solutions.
Bye
Pier Paolo.
