[jira] [Created] (COUCHDB-1958) /_utils/fauxton opens all databases on dashboard

Gregor Martynus created COUCHDB-1958:
----------------------------------------

Summary: /_utils/fauxton opens all databases on dashboard
                 Key: COUCHDB-1958
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-1958
             Project: CouchDB
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Fauxton
            Reporter: Gregor Martynus

I'm using Hoodie and have an app with 100k+ databases. After opening Fauxton it freezes and kills any browser, as it tries to get information about every single one of them with separate requests.

Could we optionally turn the initial loading of databases off entirely? In a database-per-user setup, it's not helpful anyway
