[jackrabbit] Jackrabbit locking when using Postgres for Persistence Manager

Hello.

The subject is about all I know at this point.
Please let me know where to look for further info.

After running for a few hours, the JCR gets perpetually hung, apparently on
a simple DB update statement.

This does not happen when using MySQL.

Thanks very much for the reply.
I've not been able to find any Jackrabbit-Postgres 'expert' !
My users are threatening to force me to use MySQL.

Can you tell me what what flavor/version of Jackrabbit & Postgres you are
using?

Could you send/show me your repository.xml and any of server.xml, if
relevant?

We run JackRabbit on top of PostgreSQL but don't see such problem.
