running SimpleTransform errors

I'v downloaded Xalan 1.0 extracted the zip file for Win32.

The original SimpleTransform works great.
However, I tried to recompile the SimpleTransform project
and produced the executable again.

I tried to run my executable and got an MS VC++ Debug window with an error 
message about:
Debug Assertion Failed !
Program: SimpelTransform
File:dbgdel.cpp
Line:47

Pressing retry doesn't help.
Any ideas ?
