[jira] [Created] (SPARK-34632) Can we create 'SessionState' with a
username in 'HiveClientImpl'
HonglunChen created SPARK-34632:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Can we create 'SessionState' with a username in 'HiveClientImpl'
Key: SPARK-34632
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-34632
Project: Spark
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: SQL
Affects Versions: 3.0.0
Reporter: HonglunChen
[https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/master/sql/hive/src/main/scala/org/apache/spark/sql/hive/client/HiveClientImpl.scala#L165]
Like this:
val state = new SessionState(hiveConf, userName)
We can then easily use the Hive Authorization through the user information in the 'SessionState'.
