Edwin Yeo Zheng Lin commented on TIKA-94:
-----------------------------------------
Would like to check, is there any updates on this Speech Recognition in Tika?
As the last update of this caseĀ is already more than 3 years ago, is there other case or updates which has already allow Tika to do Speech Recognition?

> Like OCR for image files (TIKA-93), we could try using speech recognition to extract text content (where available) from audio (and video!) files.
> The CMU Sphinx engine (http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/) looks promising and comes with a friendly license.
